The daily grind Empty The daily grind

After being given a brilliant idea... well, rather common and rarely followed scheme to write something on a daily basis, and realizing that I'd never be able to do that with the same story every day, I've decided to take a bit of time out of my day after work to make a bit of whatever. Gracias to facebook friend <name not used for privacy purposes> and maybe having someone else do the same'll help you keep with your goal! Heh

The daily grind Empty Day 1~ September 20th

Post  Neutral Contrast Thu Sep 20, 2012 7:44 am

Sidling on the edge of confidence
A wall of worry and doubt pushes forward
driving me towards the abyss.
Yet, beside me are allies, friends, and even strangers whom I've yet to meet
All being pushed by their own walls, they sidled their ways to me
And together, brace against the pressure.
There is no reason for their sacrifice
No self-indulgence, greed, or spite
And to my surprise, they do this for me, and for mine
So that, one day
I may sidle my way across with them
And reach the land of promise.
Stay strong, my friends
And stand forever.

The daily grind Empty Day 2~September 21st

Post  Neutral Contrast Fri Sep 21, 2012 5:14 am

I decided to go tryhard mode at work today, ended up breaking two records without breaking a sweat! Granted, the records were mine, and the two guys that actually want to break them still can't seem to get close yet. Regardless, it means I'm improving in spite of the fact that I just mess around every day at work and never really bother trying, especially with the lack of challenging aspects, but I will never be held down!

Must be the king, must become kingly!
