Monkey Weddings? Empty Monkey Weddings?

I don't believe marriage is neccessary for two people to love each other. The reason I think this is because animals don't get married. When have you ever heard of a monkey wedding? If monkeys don't get married then why should humans? Do people think that they are better than monkeys? If they do then they should be arrested for animalism or cruelty to animals or something. I'm not completely against marriage but I don't think it matters if you're married or not. I wish I could go to a monkey wedding.
